 Keeping a written record of the foods you eat is one of the most    
 helpful tools for weight loss.  It gives you a true snapshot of your 
 eating style and habits.  A food diary can record what you ate and 
 give you insight about why you ate.  Were you really hungry or did 
 you eat because you were you feeling stressted? 
 
 Looking at the foods you choose and the situations you are in when  you choose them, can help you become a more conscious eater.
